With subjects accredited by the Trans-Tasman Intellectual Property Attorneys Board (TTIPAB), the UTS Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property is designed to help both law and non-law graduates develop expertise in the fascinating, vital intellectual property profession.

This postgraduate degree gives you the opportunity to meet your unique career goals and interests. You'll complete two core and two subjects of your choice from the 14 on offer, many of which have been accredited by the Trans-Tasman Intellectual Property Attorneys Board (TTIPAB).
Going beyond theory, you'll get the chance to experience law first-hand and build knowledge of and skills in reasoning, negotiation and analysis. While all TTIPAB accredited subjects are timetabled each year, please note that some subjects may not be offered in every session
Applicants must have completed a UTS recognised bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or submitted other evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrates potential to pursue graduate studies. A relevant, appropriate first degree is the Bachelor of Laws or equivalent, or higher law qualification. Students who have graduated with a Shari'a law qualification are not eligible to apply for this course. Academic IELTS- 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0; or TOEFL- paper based- 550-583 overall with TWE of 4.5, internet based- 79-93 overall with a writing score of 21
