The Health Science Honours program equips students with essential research skills through two semesters of full-time study (or equivalent). Participants must complete a research thesis as part of their coursework, along with mandatory units in statistics and data analysis, plus an additional subject arranged with the School. The curriculum includes a literature review tied to the thesis topic and requires students to present their findings in a seminar. This Bachelor of Health Science (Honours) degree opens doors to diverse healthcare careers such as health promotion, administration, project management, and research, while also serving as a pathway to graduate programs in medicine and allied health fields. Through our global exchange initiative, students can study abroad for a semester or year, with their overseas coursework counting toward their degree. We provide various scholarships and financial support options, including potential eligibility for OS-HELP Loans, to help cover travel, accommodation, and living costs during international study.
