The Master of Science in Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) offers a fully online, adaptable program with select in-person opportunities, designed to equip clinicians and researchers with essential skills for conducting rigorous clinical studies and critically assessing research findings to enhance patient outcomes. Medical students can enroll in this program and later transition to the Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) upon earning their medical degree. To obtain the Master of Medicine, students must complete at least one additional unit after switching from the Master of Science program. Qualification Requirements
A successful applicant for admission to the Master of Science in Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) will hold a bachelor's degree with first or second class honours from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification.
All students entering the program are expected to have some clinical experience.
Applicants must have completed work equivalent to a first or second class honours bachelor's degree.
In exceptional circumstances the dean may admit applicants without these qualifications who, in the opinion of the school, have qualifications and evidence of experience and achievement sufficient to successfully undertake the award.
IELTS - A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL IBT - A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
