The Graduate Certificate in Health Research is an academic program focused on medical and health research methodologies, designed for healthcare practitioners seeking to enhance their research capabilities. This qualification is ideal for medical professionals and clinicians. It cultivates essential research competencies in healthcare disciplines, equipping you for advanced research degrees like master's or PhD programs, as well as for conducting research projects in professional settings
Admission requires a recognised bachelor's degree. Students who have a relevant diploma and/or significant professional experience (minimum 2 years of professional experience in a related field) will also be considered. Students who successfully complete the Graduate Certificate in Public Health with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65 or higher will have the option to articulate into the Master of Public Health or the Master of Public Health Extension.
