The Master of Design equips future industry leaders with cutting-edge capabilities. This program immerses you in design-driven innovation, strategic design leadership, and research methodologies, preparing you to navigate complex challenges and global markets through design thinking. Discover how to leverage design approaches to solve intricate problems, create innovation frameworks, and establish competitive market strategies. You'll develop both analytical and creative competencies while gaining expertise in communication, research, problem-solving, and evaluative reasoning.
Alumni of the Master of Design (Design Innovation) (Strategic Design) program will be qualified for positions that integrate design expertise, innovative thinking, and strategic vision into business operations. Career opportunities include: head of design, corporate strategist, design director, user experience architect, innovation consultant, and digital transformation leader.
Available places will be offered to qualified applicants in the order in which complete applications are received, according to the admissions criteria listed below.
a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification with a weighted average mark of 65, or
completion of the requirements of the embedded graduate diploma with a weighted average mark of 70.
IELTS score: A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
Pearsons Test of English: A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
