In an ever-evolving professional landscape, designers must continuously cultivate cutting-edge skills and expertise to adapt and emerge as pioneers in their industry. Situated at the crossroads of multiple creative fields, our Master of Design equips you with the foundation to investigate modern design concepts that will elevate your practice and position you as a visionary leader. This studio-intensive, project-driven program allows you to deepen your expertise in specialized domains like interaction design, multimedia design, or collaborative design. You also have the flexibility to combine units from these three streams to create a customized specialization in Advanced Study in Design.
At the heart of the program are four essential design studios that immerse you in working with systems, services, processes, environments, and objects. Complementing these core studios, you'll study Design Thinking to tackle real-world problems using strategic design methodologies. Additional coursework strengthens your abilities in design research, management, and entrepreneurship, culminating in a comprehensive exegesis.
