Environmental Studies explores the social, economic, and regulatory factors influencing environmental and ecosystem management.

This interdisciplinary field combines social and biophysical sciences within policy and regulatory contexts.

The Environmental Studies major equips students with knowledge of governance structures relevant to environmental careers, covering sustainability, environmental law, ethics, development, energy, economics, and political aspects.

The ENVI coursework complements both natural sciences and social science disciplines.
The Bachelor of Science (Advanced) is an undergraduate program designed to enhance analytical and critical thinking skills, preparing students for research careers that contribute to global betterment. Core units provide foundational scientific knowledge, followed by specialization through a chosen stream, major, or program. Students also select a minor or additional major from available options, complete Open Learning Environment units, and take electives to fulfill degree requirements.
