This International Dual Degree offers students the chance to acquire international exposure while earning two distinct qualifications. Upon completion, graduates will be awarded both a Bachelor of Environmental Science from ECU and a BSc (Hons) Environmental Science and Management from the University of Portsmouth (UK).
The program establishes foundational knowledge in biological, chemical, physical, and social environmental components, along with management techniques. By leveraging the interdisciplinary expertise of both ECU and Portsmouth University, the course prepares students for diverse careers in environmental science and management, capitalizing on each institution's unique specializations. During their third year at Portsmouth, students will conduct Mediterranean fieldwork and other studies, cultivating adaptability, self-reliance, and global perspectives.

Qualification Requirements

All applicants must meet the academic admission requirements for this course. The indicative or guaranteed ATAR is as published (where applicable) or academic admission requirements may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:
AQF Cert IV,
Successfully completed 0.25 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher at an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent),
Undergraduate Certificate,
Special Tertiary Admissions Test,
University Preparation Course,
Indigenous University Orientation Course,
Aboriginal University Readiness Assessment, or
Experience Based Entry Scheme.

International Baccalaureate Diploma - Minimum of 24 points (Minimum of 28 points for Law), consisting of aggregate from 3 higher level & 3 subsidiary level

IELTS Academic Overall band minimum score of 6.0 (no individual band less than 6.0),
TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition - Minimum score of 70, with no individual score less than 17.
TOEFL paper-based test (PBT) - Minimum score of 550, including Test of Written English of 5 or better.
