Through UQ's half-year Graduate Certificate in Molecular Biology, you'll master practical laboratory methods including electrophoresis, PCR, endonuclease mapping, fluorescent markers, and expression vectors.
You'll attain sophisticated understanding of gene architecture and protein synthesis. The curriculum encompasses genome analysis, recombinant DNA methods, and macromolecular structure analysis. Combining lab sessions, workshops, research projects, and guided learning, you'll develop competencies in bioinformatics, molecular genetics, biomolecular interactions, and immune system studies.
Upon completion, you'll possess the advanced understanding and technical proficiency to excel in cutting-edge molecular biology research or industrial applications.
Bachelor degree in any field, with UQ or equivalent GPA of 4.5 or above on a 7 point scale; or
2 years of work experience in the same discipline.

For other English Language Proficiency Tests and Scores approved for UQ TOEFL IBT - Overall 87, listening 19, reading 19, writing 21 and speaking 19. TOEFL PB - Overall 570, listening 54, reading 54, writing 59/5. Pearsons - Overall Score of 64 and 60 in all sub bands. BEP - A minimum overall grade of 4 plus a minimum grade of C in all macro skills. CES - Overall 176 and 169 in all sub bands. OET is not accepted.
