Your studies will cover immunology, microbiology, oral medicine, clinical oral pathology, periodontium and pulp biology, periodontal-restorative relationships, implantology, and radiology.
You'll obtain hands-on experience by treating patients in the periodontal clinic, along with participating in regular case presentations and clinical tutorials.
Through clinical training, you'll master various periodontal treatments such as conservative, surgical, regenerative, and mucogingival therapies. Additionally, you'll develop expertise in implantology, complex case planning, and regenerative and augmentation techniques.

Qualification Requirements
Hold an approved degree in dentistry from UQ (or equivalent) with a minimum two years of graduate clinical experience and be registered as a dentist with the Dental Board of Australia.Please note that due to limited places, entry is competitive and not all applicants who meet the entry requirements are offered a place.The minimum GPA to be considered for admission into this program is 4.0.
