During your honours year, you'll conduct an in-depth examination of a chosen subject while developing essential research design and implementation skills.
You'll create an original honours thesis focused on an approved topic within specialized research areas like biomechanics and motor control, pedagogy and sociocultural studies, nutrition and dietetics, or human movement and health. Some projects may involve collaboration with industry partners including the Queensland Academy of Sport, the Brisbane Broncos, or Queensland Health.
A Bachelor of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences or Bachelor of Exercise and Nutrition Science from UQ with a GPA of 5;
Or a bachelor's degree in human movement and nutrition sciences and satisfy the Executive Dean that the applicant is suitably qualified to undertake honours, who may be subject to the completion of additional work if set by the Executive Dean.
English language requirements
IELTS overall 6.5; reading 6; writing 6; speaking 6; listening 6. For other English Language Proficiency Tests and Scores approved for UQ
TOEFL iBT (including Paper Edition) - Overall 87, listening 19, reading 19, writing 21 and speaking 19.
PTE Academic - Overall Score of 64 and 60 in all sub bands.
BE - A minimum overall grade of 4 plus a minimum grade of C in all macro skills.
CES - Overall 176 and 169 in all sub bands.
OET is not accepted.
