The Bond University Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science provides you with in-depth expertise and hands-on abilities in health, fitness, and athletic performance. This program offers thorough insights into both fundamental and applied sciences relevant to individual and public health, fitness, and sports performance across various levels. Key subjects covered encompass human anatomy and physiology, exercise and sports physiology, biochemistry and molecular biology, biomechanics, motor learning and control, and sports psychology. Emphasizing practical education, the curriculum incorporates extensive real-world experience and meaningful assessments to enhance graduate employability. Instruction primarily takes place at the Bond Institute of Health and Sport, where students benefit from top-tier practical training in our globally recognized High-Performance Training Center and specialized teaching and research labs. These facilities offer sports science testing, training, and recovery services to elite and developing athletes, including state, national, and international competitors, creating an immersive learning environment. During the program, students will conduct athlete assessments, performance evaluations, and exercise programming for both active individuals and non-athletes, alongside strength and conditioning work with sports professionals. The degree also fosters interdisciplinary collaboration with students in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and nutrition, reflecting modern allied healthcare practices. Graduates are equipped for dynamic careers in exercise science, sports science, and strength and conditioning, while also gaining a fast-track option for advanced studies in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutrition, dietetics, and high-performance sports science.
Students who have completed Year 12 in Australia or equivalent secondary studies in other countries.
