The Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science) equips students with expertise in combining physical activity with health enhancement, injury rehabilitation, and athletic performance optimization.
This program teaches the integration of exercise principles with wellness promotion, sports excellence, and preventive healthcare. Graduates assist in injury recovery, boost elite athlete performance, support healthy aging, and enhance overall wellbeing.
This undergraduate degree offers comprehensive training in designing and implementing physical activity programs for health improvement and disease prevention. Across three years, students undertake core subjects, an Exercise Science major, and a Physical Activity and Health minor.
The curriculum includes mandatory 140-hour practical placements during the final year through two specialized units. Students may also pursue an additional minor or major from disciplinary or interdisciplinary options, along with elective courses to fulfill degree requirements from various academic pools or open learning modules.
