The Master of Engineering research program serves as foundational training in advanced academic exploration and investigation. Students develop core research competencies while mastering innovative methodologies. This curriculum may incorporate structured coursework, typically aimed at equipping participants for their thesis projects. While requiring original research, the scope and novelty expectations are generally more contained compared to doctoral requirements. The program fosters creative thinking, while providing close guidance during initial problem definition phases and when applying unfamiliar techniques.
