The Master of Arts (Research) program requires students to develop a thesis proposal and conduct original research culminating in a final thesis. This degree typically takes three to four semesters of full-time study. It's ideal for students seeking rigorous academic research opportunities without committing to a three-year PhD program, or for projects requiring shorter-term investigation. Applicants must demonstrate research capability, either through an Honors qualification or relevant professional experience after completing their bachelor's degree.
