This Master's by Research program involves candidates collaborating with a Principal Supervisor, who is assigned by the Research Higher Degrees Sub Committee and approved by the School. Designed to take between 1.5 to 2 years of full-time study, the degree is granted based on:
A studio component consisting of practical, discipline-specific research evaluated through an exhibition or performance;
A practical studio investigation accompanied by an exegesis of at least 10,000 words, which clarifies, expands, or contextualizes the studio work while establishing its critical and theoretical framework.
