The Graduate Diploma of Research Studies provides in-depth theoretical and technical training in research methodologies. Throughout the program, students complete eight mandatory subjects, one of which is a Preliminary Research Thesis. This curriculum emphasizes developing essential research competencies, from project design to execution, while enhancing analytical and communication abilities crucial for academic pursuits. Participants will acquire sophisticated cognitive, technical, and communicative capabilities to interpret data, synthesize knowledge, and devise innovative solutions to challenging issues. Graduates emerge prepared for research-oriented careers, possessing fundamental skills to assist professional researchers effectively.
A completed bachelor degree in any discipline from an Australian university or college with a distinction average, or equivalent;
OR
A completed coursework masters with a credit average;
OR
A minimum of five years relevant professional experience and Graduate Certificate;
OR
A Graduate certificate of research studies with a credit average.
