Murdoch's globally recognized Veterinary Science program equips you to become a fully qualified veterinarian capable of delivering comprehensive animal healthcare. As Western Australia's sole Veterinary Science course, it offers the chance to acquire essential knowledge, skills, and hands-on training to address current and future challenges facing pets, farm animals, and wildlife. The curriculum combines scientific rigor with practical learning, ensuring graduates meet the veterinary profession's highest standards. The pathway to veterinary qualification involves a five-year combined Bachelor-Master degree. Those with relevant prior university studies may qualify for first-year credit and an accelerated summer program option, potentially allowing entry into second year and degree completion in four years.
Applicants are required to complete secondary education (Year 12 or Australian equivalent) currently or within the last two years are eligible to apply. Entry requirements vary country by country.
