Music studies – also referred to as musicology – involves the scholarly examination of various musical disciplines, encompassing music creation, vocal performance, instrumental execution, film scoring, academic music research, composition, as well as traditional and global musical traditions.
The Music studies program integrates hands-on training with academic coursework, allowing students to focus on specific musical specialties. It delivers an extensive exploration of modern musical theories, techniques, tools, and business aspects from the 20th and 21st centuries. Students will cultivate both practical and analytical abilities in musical performance, theory, and technology; master essential communication strategies for music and media environments to boost career prospects; and gain adaptability to evolving industry standards through experiential learning. Additionally, participants will refine their artistic professionalism throughout the program.
