The Bachelor of Community Services equips graduates with comprehensive knowledge and hands-on abilities to safely assist, represent, and engage with clients across various social welfare issues. Learners will cultivate essential interpersonal and communication competencies to support diverse individuals, families, and communities. The program teaches effective strategies for designing, executing, and assessing initiatives with an emphasis on inclusive, culturally aware case management and service delivery. Participants obtain real-world experience by completing 400 hours of fieldwork through two placements at accredited community service organizations. This degree meets Community Work Australia (CWA) certification requirements, with Ikon pursuing official CWA accreditation to increase the program's professional standing.
Applicants with Higher Education (HE) study must have undertaken a higher education qualification (or, where incomplete, at least a semester of study).
 
Applicants with recent Senior Secondary Education (within the past two years) must have completed an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate (Year 12) or equivalent.  For guaranteed entry, applicants must have achieved an ATAR Rank of 60.
