Nursing is the professional practice of compassionate healthcare, providing avenues to enhance wellness, manage disease, and relieve pain. Throughout this program, you'll cultivate essential competencies for delivering outstanding patient care. Your abilities will grow through hands-on clinical experiences across diverse healthcare environments, with options for placements in rural, remote, and international locations. The Bachelor of Nursing offers various specialized tracks, each with distinct graduation criteria that students must fulfill. Career possibilities span hospital systems, community health networks, and both metropolitan and countryside facilities. Nursing alumni pursue diverse roles across multiple sectors, including medical facilities, public health centers, senior care residences, educational institutions, tourism health services, addiction treatment providers, athletic organizations, and research institutions.
Trimester 1 and 2 intakes: Applicants for the Advanced standing pathways must:
hold a Diploma of Health Care from Griffith College
OR hold a Diploma of Nursing from an accredited Australian Education Provider and unconditional registration (without restrictions) as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) General with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra ). Note that registration under the Ahpra Pandemic Response Sub Register is not accepted.(Diploma of Nursing pathway)
OR are an Internationally Qualified Nurse and provide documentary evidence with their application.
