If you've long aspired to become a nurse or if personal experiences have fueled your desire to impact lives through healthcare, our accredited Bachelor of Nursing program will equip you for a fulfilling and varied career as a skilled Registered Nurse (Division 1) General.
This program trains you to thoughtfully evaluate your nursing practice while honing clinical reasoning abilities, enabling you to practice modern nursing with confidence and safety across various settings. You'll learn to care for individuals from all walks of life. Our expert nursing faculty will guide you as you build your professional identity. Through classroom instruction and hands-on training at our nationwide Clinical Learning Centers - which replicate real healthcare environments for safe practice - plus 800 hours of clinical placements starting in your first year, you'll gain essential skills and knowledge. Completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent; or completion of AQF Certificate IV or equivalent; or completion of an approved university foundation studies program.
English Requirements
An International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic) overall band score of at least 7.0 overall with a minimum 7.0 for Reading and Writing and 7.0 for Speaking and Listening, or
the PTE Academic with a minimum overall score of 65 and a minimum score of 65 in each of the four communicative skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking), or
the TOEFL iBT with a minimum total score of 94 and the following minimum score in each section of the test: 24 for listening, 24 for reading, 27 for writing, and 23 for speaking, or
An Occupational English Test with Grades A or B only in each of the four components (listening, reading, writing and speaking).
