A rigorous performance-focused program centered on ensemble training, where students hone advanced instrumental and performance abilities on their selected instrument (voice, guitar, bass, piano, or drums).
Participants benefit from one-on-one instruction, participate in instrument-specific masterclasses, and join performance-driven ensembles with extensive repertoire. Collaborative performances with composition students provide opportunities for creative exploration. Supplementary coursework covers arranging, music history, theory, rhythm studies, ear training, improvisation, and secondary instrument study. Regular performances occur throughout the program, culminating in a professional-level recital during the final year.
