The program offers diverse study options tailored for aspiring music professionals, those with wide-ranging cultural interests in music, and students pursuing alternative career paths. This flexibility enables you to combine musical practice with historical research or any other arts discipline.
Graduates will be equipped for numerous fulfilling career opportunities including creating and performing music for theater, concerts, film, and media; music journalism and criticism; or arts management roles such as curation, marketing, and event coordination.
The combined Bachelor of Arts and Master of Nursing degree fosters critical thinking, independent analysis, and evidence-based reasoning while offering exploration across arts and social sciences disciplines.
Students will complete a primary major from Arts and Social Sciences, optionally adding a minor or secondary major from either the disciplinary or shared pools. The curriculum also includes Open Learning Environment units and electives to fulfill credit requirements.
The first year focuses exclusively on Arts and Social Sciences, with nursing studies beginning in the second year. Progression to the Master of Nursing requires meeting academic standards. The nursing component blends coursework with extensive practical training, featuring over 800 hours of clinical placements.
