Mechanical engineering is an engineering discipline focused on creating, analyzing, and maintaining mechanical parts and dynamic systems.
The curriculum covers fundamental physical and engineering sciences, materials technology, production methods, and mechanical design principles. Emphasizing hands-on learning, the program offers extensive project work to enhance practical abilities. Students can also choose a motorsports specialization, concentrating on vehicle design and racing engineering. Those interested in this track should discuss it with the course coordinator.
This program builds professional engineering expertise by combining theoretical foundations with practical problem-solving, teamwork, and project management. Graduates emerge with both technical proficiency and transferable skills, including advanced analytical capabilities and leadership in complex engineering initiatives.
Initial studies establish core knowledge in mechanics, mathematics, and engineering design principles, complemented by training in CAD/CAM, materials technology, structural mechanics, industrial upkeep, and mechanical systems. Advanced coursework in later years explores specialized areas like electromechanical integration, structural evaluation, and sophisticated mechanical design, equipping graduates with immediately applicable workplace skills.
