The Master of Psychology (Clinical) equips you for a career as a licensed psychologist, enabling you to significantly improve patients' lives through mental health diagnosis and treatment. This program also serves as a foundation for specialized training that can lead to professional endorsements in specific practice areas.

For aspiring psychologists pursuing general registration, the Master of Psychology (Clinical) may represent the final stage of academic preparation. Graduates emerge with the competencies, practical experience, and credentials required to apply for general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA). The curriculum specifically focuses on facilitating your transition from academic study to professional practice. Additionally, its accreditation by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) ensures strong industry recognition among employers.

This degree also offers a route to advanced training for obtaining PsyBA practice endorsements. Such endorsements validate a psychologist's expertise in specialized fields like clinical psychology or neuropsychology, creating opportunities for more senior professional positions.

Our clinical psychology faculty has received the Vice-Chancellor's Teaching Excellence award, and our innovative educational approaches feature simulation-based learning and competency-focused assessment methods.
