The Graduate Diploma of Professional Psychology is an APAC-accredited fourth-year psychology qualification in Australia. This program is designed for individuals who hold a bachelor's degree with a psychology major from any APAC-accredited institution and wish to pursue higher-level postgraduate studies or supervised psychological practice. Following a scientist-practitioner approach, the curriculum offers in-depth exploration of psychological principles, research methodologies, and foundational clinical practice. Through engagement with current developmental psychology research, you will: gain insight into lifespan human development encompassing biological, cognitive, social, and emotional changes from childhood through adulthood analyze legal requirements for psychological practice and compliance strategies recognize ethical considerations that uphold professional standards understand personality variations and their measurement through diverse assessment methods appreciate psychology's scientific foundations while conducting independent research.
