Each doctoral candidate in the Doctor of Philosophy - Information Technology program will be assigned a primary supervisor from the Applied Artificial Intelligence Institute (A²I²)'s full-time academic staff with research expertise. Additional associate supervisors, either from within or outside the institution, will support the primary supervisor. Candidates must fulfill specific attendance obligations and submit a thesis presenting original research in their chosen field of study, as defined upon enrollment. The program facilitates introductions between students and potential supervisors to develop suitable research projects. Typically completed within two to four years (full-time or equivalent part-time), the PhD can be pursued through on-campus or online study options.
