This program expands upon the foundational competencies acquired in the graduate certificate, delving deeper into the biological, psychological, and social dimensions of human sexuality alongside diverse research methodologies.
Students will explore the same selection of units available in the graduate certificate, providing opportunities to examine varying perspectives and values while studying sexual/reproductive public health, forensic sexology, and cross-cultural approaches to sexology. The additional required units will foster a more thorough comprehension of human sexuality.
The curriculum also covers essential health research methods, enhancing students' abilities in data interpretation, reporting practices, and ethical research protocols. Upon completion, graduates may advance to the master's degree program.
