This program offers a one-semester introduction to journalism (with part-time options available). Participants will acquire core journalism skills while examining ethical and legal considerations in the field.
You'll develop research competencies, critical thinking abilities, and professional communication skills across multiple media platforms. The curriculum covers journalism fundamentals, technological applications, and the connection between local and global perspectives in news reporting. Students will learn to operate within professional standards, collaborating while adhering to journalism's legal and ethical frameworks.
Applicants require a bachelor degree in any discipline.
