Curtin's Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) provides an industry-focused education where you'll learn to develop engineering solutions for complex real-world problems across society and industry sectors.

Bachelor Degrees equip students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in their chosen field, preparing them for professional careers and further education at AQF level 7. The honours component builds advanced capabilities for professional practice, research, and continued learning at AQF level 8.

With strong emphasis on problem-solving, Curtin's BEng (Hons) program teaches students to apply scientific principles, mathematics, data analysis, information technology, and computing to practical scenarios. Students adopt a systems approach that prioritizes safety, ethical considerations, environmental impact, respect for Indigenous knowledge, and compliance with legal and professional requirements. The curriculum fosters continuous learning, teamwork, leadership development, project management competencies, and identification of long-term career advancement opportunities.

Following the Engineering Foundation Year (EFY), students can choose from various specialization areas beginning in Year 2. They may opt for an extended specialization to enhance expertise in their major or select complementary minors to broaden their knowledge base.
