The Master of Psychology (Clinical) Degree aims to deliver comprehensive training in professional psychology practice. Grounded in the scientist-practitioner approach, this program equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical competencies needed for registration as practicing psychologists, particularly in Clinical Psychology. Incorporating diverse theoretical frameworks backed by current research, the coursework degree combines academic study, research projects, and hands-on placements. Learners undertake supervised practical training with expert practitioners, implementing evidence-based approaches at a professional level. Graduates who fulfill all requirements qualify for full psychologist registration, APS membership, and associate status with the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.
Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor Degree or qualification equivalent to AQF Level 7.
English language proficiency requirements:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Academic Overall score 7.0 with no sub score less than 7.0
Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test (TOEFL iBT): Overall score 94, no scores below 27 Writing, 23 Speaking, 24 for Reading and Listening
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score 65 with no Communicative Scores below 65
