The Master of Accounting (Professional) is a specialized degree tailored for those seeking professional accounting credentials. This program builds upon the standard Master of Accounting curriculum, which enables graduates from non-accounting backgrounds to obtain accounting qualifications. The professional version maintains the core structure while adding a 20-week practical component. The MAcc (Prof) delivers both theoretical knowledge in accounting principles and practical industry experience. Combining essential accounting expertise with strategic decision-making, leadership development, and financial proficiency, this program equips graduates to provide expert financial guidance to organizations.
Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) in any field other than accounting.
English language proficiency requirements:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Academic Overall score 6.5 with no sub score less than 6.0
Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test (TOEFL iBT): Overall score 79 (no scores below 21 in Writing, 18 in Speaking, and 16 in Reading and Listening)
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score 58 with no Communicative Scores below 50
