The Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) program prepares students for careers in accounting. This curriculum emphasizes practical accounting skills and knowledge. Beginning with core concepts in accounting, economics, and economic systems, the program advances to specialized topics essential for accounting professionals. Students will gain expertise in applying accounting standards to create and analyze financial reports, along with researching contemporary accounting topics. The program also covers distinctions between accounting standards and tax regulations, including how business operations affect taxation.
A recognised Bachelors degree, or equivalent, with an average mark of 50% or a UOW Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting*.
Applicants with other relevant tertiary qualifications and/or substantial relevant professional of managerial experience will also be considered for entry.
