Adelaide University's combined Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Economics program provides comprehensive training in both legal frameworks and economic principles. This dual degree immerses students in Australia's eleven core legal domains while demonstrating their practical applications, alongside rigorous economic training in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics. The program emphasizes analytical thinking for addressing policy challenges at all levels, from governmental decisions to household economics. Students gain practical experience through 100+ hours of professional development in real-world settings. Graduates emerge as ethically grounded legal professionals ready for practice, though admission to the legal profession requires completing the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice as an additional step.
