To boost your career prospects, deepen your expertise in a specialized legal field, and develop essential research capabilities, consider UniSQ's Bachelor of Laws (Honours) – one of Australia's limited graduate Honours programs in law. With mentorship from our experienced faculty, you'll explore legal research methodologies, undertake two significant research projects in your chosen legal domains, and create meaningful societal impact. Our instructors bring diverse professional backgrounds spanning criminal law, human rights, international and comparative law, ethics, family and succession law, environmental law, commercial and tax law, and public policy. Our curriculum benefits from the guidance of an Advisory Committee comprising distinguished judges and legal practitioners who fully endorse our programs. Faculty members maintain active ties with the legal community, ensuring our programs address current professional demands. If you've finished your Practical Legal Training (PLT) elsewhere, we'll apply those credits to reduce your Honours coursework by half (specifically the Honours electives portion). You can complete your law Honours degree in just one additional year (or part-time equivalent), including PLT – a valuable addition to your professional credentials.
