Begin your journey to becoming a pilot.
Gain theoretical knowledge and hands-on flight training through our collaboration with Flight Training Adelaide (FTA).
Turn your aviation aspirations into reality with this cutting-edge degree program. The Bachelor of Aviation (Flight) serves as the foundation for international students pursuing a career in aviation.
During your first semester, you'll select from three specialized flight tracks, each with unique prerequisites. Additional information is available in the Bachelor of Aviation brochure.
Our premier track prepares you for airline careers by providing essential pilot licenses and certifications. This option includes simultaneous enrollment in the Graduate Diploma in Aviation and transition to the Bachelor of Aviation (Pilot).
Alternative pathways allow you to continue in the Bachelor of Aviation (Flight) program while completing Flight Experience - a first-year course offering 15-20 hours of dual instruction in single-engine aircraft, with potential solo flights for qualified students.
All flight training occurs at our partner facility, Flight Training Adelaide (FTA), conveniently located at Parafield Airport adjacent to Mawson Lakes campus. Our industry partnerships ensure your training meets anticipated global pilot demand.
Detailed requirements for each flight track are outlined in the Bachelor of Aviation brochure.
Flight training participation requires a valid Class II Medical Certificate (minimum 6-month validity) and compliance with the Aviation Academy's Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP).
