Mechanical engineering stands as one of the broadest fields within classical engineering domains. Professionals in this field create and develop machinery and equipment that allow people to function in diverse environments - from outer space to underwater. These innovations enhance our physical abilities, boost health and quality of life, and influence our surroundings. Of course, engineering possibilities are largely determined by available materials, which is why mechanical engineers collaborate extensively with materials scientists. Together they aim to customize not just mechanical characteristics but also chemical and electrical properties of substances to enable groundbreaking applications.
