The Yale School of Music offers an intimate tuba program that emphasizes individual attention within the brass department's cooperative setting. Tuba students receive weekly one-on-one instruction and attend group seminar classes. Beyond solo performances, they engage in chamber music, a cornerstone of the Yale musical experience. Participants also join diverse ensembles for the New Music New Haven series and perform with the prestigious Yale Philharmonia orchestra.
