A powerful approach to environmental advocacy involves blending legal education with expertise in environmental science, policy, and historical context. To facilitate this, Yale School of the Environment (YSE) provides a dual-degree program that pairs a Master of Environmental Management with a Juris Doctor. This collaborative initiative involves Yale Law School along with two partner institutions: Pace University School of Law and Vermont Law School. Participants gain legal knowledge, refine their analytical abilities, and establish comprehensive expertise in policy as well as natural and social sciences.
