Collaborating with various Yale University schools and departments, the Law School provides dual-degree programs for a master's or doctorate alongside a J.D. (Juris Doctor). These programs cater to individuals seeking specialized expertise in law-related fields. All study plans require approval from the Faculty Committee on Special Courses of Study. The School of Management's two-year Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program includes a J.D.-M.B.A. option for students pursuing careers in business law, entrepreneurship, or organizational leadership. This four-year joint degree allows students to complete both the J.D. and M.B.A., with applications accepted either concurrently or during early years at either school. The program structure involves two years at Yale Law School, one year in SOM's core MBA curriculum, and a final year taking elective courses across Yale's campuses.
