The World Christianity/Missions concentration caters to students passionate about Christianity's global growth, those planning to work with international churches and organizations, or individuals aiming for advanced studies in related disciplines. The program mandates diverse coursework exploring Christianity's historical, biblical, and theological aspects, along with its cultural interactions and engagements with other faiths. Participants can choose between Missions or World Christianity as their focus area. Both tracks require twelve core credit hours, including six in biblical studies foundations, six in theology/ethics, and six in Christian history, plus six elective credits. The Missions track involves six credits in one of four regional studies programs (Latin American, African, East Asian, or Southeast Asian) alongside six credits in World Christianity, with potential cross-departmental courses approved by an advisor. The World Christianity track requires six Missions credits and six in world religions, with an optional major research project available through advisor consultation.
