The Physics and Geosciences program utilizes core physics concepts to examine Earth and planetary systems with greater depth than standalone Physics or Geology/Geophysics majors. The curriculum spans diverse areas including atmospheric sciences, oceanography, climate systems, terrestrial geophysics, and planetary physics. Students must complete twelve term courses beyond prerequisites (including a senior thesis), with a minimum of four Physics courses and six Geology/Geophysics courses.
Applicants must have a completion of high school.
Applicants will have IELTS scores of 7.0 or higher and Pearson Test scores of 70 or higher. TOEFL scores of at least the following: 100 on the internet-based TOEFL; 25 on the paper-and-paper TOEFL Paper-delivered Test.
