Linguistics involves the systematic analysis of language. The Linguistics program provides coursework focused on comprehending sound systems, sentence formation, meaning structures, and diverse methodologies in descriptive, experimental, and historical language studies. Students can specialize in theoretical, experimental, or computer-based linguistics, comparative grammar topics, or specific language groups. Prospective students are encouraged to meet with the undergraduate studies director (DUS) for guidance.
Applicants must have a completion of high school.
Applicants will have IELTS scores of 7.0 or higher and Pearson Test scores of 70 or higher. TOEFL scores of at least the following: 100 on the internet-based TOEFL; 25 on the paper-and-paper TOEFL Paper-delivered Test.
