Undergraduate students enrolled in either the B.S. in Cognitive Science or B.A. in Linguistics programs, along with those pursuing bachelor's degrees in associated disciplines such as Anthropology, Computer and Information Science, Philosophy, and Psychology (or other fields upon approval), can apply for the Combined B.S./B.A. and M.A. pathway. This integrated program merges the curriculum requirements for both undergraduate and graduate studies in Cognitive Science or Linguistics and Linguistics and Cognitive Science. While conventional B.S./B.A. and M.A. programs typically span four years of undergraduate study followed by two years of graduate work, this accelerated option allows students to obtain both degrees within five years. Successful participants will receive either a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science or a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics alongside a Master of Arts in Linguistics and Cognitive Science upon completion.
