Bachelor's Degree
The M.S. degree's research-focused (thesis) track offers comprehensive training, covering scientific writing techniques, critical evaluation of research literature, practical lab work in cutting-edge facilities, and support for thesis presentation and defense. This five-semester program requires first-year students to take 12-15 credit hours of coursework while rotating through faculty labs. After choosing a thesis advisor, students embark on original research projects. In their second year, they finalize their research and present both written and oral thesis defenses. Additionally, participation in departmental seminars is mandatory to broaden understanding of pharmacology and toxicology research areas.
