The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences provides two graduate degree options: the Master of Science and the Master of Science in Teaching (Earth Science). The MS program equips students for professional roles as earth scientists across various sectors including industry, government, and academia, while also serving as preparation for advanced doctoral studies. Faculty research specialties encompass Aquatic Biogeochemistry, Hydrogeology, Geophysics, Geospatial Analysis and Remote Sensing, Complex Earth Systems, Paleoecology and Sedimentary Environments, along with Earth Science Education.
