Wright State University offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology for undergraduate students. Those enrolled in the B.S. program will explore various psychological subjects while gaining practical skills in applying psychological principles, effective communication, data collection and analysis, and statistical interpretation. Psychology majors can also specialize in one of three concentrations: Behavioral Neuroscience (BNS): Examines the relationship between physiological processes, neurochemistry, and psychological phenomena, Clinical Psychology Concentration: Combines psychological science with addressing, diagnosing, and treating complex human issues, Cognition and Perception (CAP): Studies human performance and applies these findings to enhance product and system design, and Industrial Organizational Psychology (IO): Applies psychological concepts to workplace environments, focusing on areas like employee selection and productivity improvement.
