Undergraduates working toward a BS degree with a human factors and applied cognition specialization complete 12-13 credit hours. A minimum 2.00 GPA is required for all concentration-related courses.
Psychology Department Honors Program participants (PSYC 490, 491, and 492) who complete an honors thesis/project in human factors or applied cognition may, with approval from their thesis committees and the undergraduate studies associate chair, replace one concentration course with their honors work. All enrolled students can-
pursue independent research projects
participate in global learning experiences through Mason's international programs and language courses
get involved in various community service initiatives
gain professional experience through internships, career-oriented minors, and other career preparation activities
