Customize your management engineering degree to align with your interests and professional aspirations through a flexible academic structure. You will begin with foundational courses in mathematics, calculus, statistics, sciences, and computer science to build a solid base for your chosen business and technical classes. Each management engineering student can designate six courses toward their technical specialization.
Students in management engineering can also pursue various concentrations, such as biomedical engineering, chemistry, civil engineering, electrical and computer engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical and materials engineering, and operations management. Additionally, they have the option to collaborate with advisors to create a concentration tailored to their unique interests.
At the crossroads of business and technology, the WPI Management Engineering (MGE) program equips students with a comprehensive grasp of business and management fundamentals while honing technical expertise in their selected engineering or science field. Graduates leverage their management and engineering knowledge in domains like product development, project management, fintech, and technical sales.
